Born in a small town outside of Nashville, TN, Suzanne Saxon grew up surrounded by the love of music. Her mother and grandparents always loved music, whether it be live performances at church, listening to radio shows or impromptu backyard gatherings with local musicians.

“Susie,” as she was called, also loved the magical performances at Nashville Children’s Theatre. Her mother always made sure to purchase season tickets, and Suzanne loved going to War Memorial Auditorium where she could enjoy the professional sets, lighting, singing and dancing.

Entertainment was always something to be enjoyed, but no one in Suzanne’s family had ever pursued music or acting as a profession. Not seeing it as something “normal people” did, Suzanne graduated college with a degree in Interior Design, and worked in various design, service and sales roles. However, she still found herself being drawn to all things entertainment.

In order to step in that direction, she enrolled in modeling and acting classes, hired a vocal coach and worked with CMA (the Country Music Association) to assist media and talent at award shows and special events. She then began appearing in local/regional TV commercials and music videos where her beauty and natural stage presence made her a noticeable talent.

Although she loved being involved in the industry, it was music that always proved the main draw for Suzanne. She sang with various musicians around Nashville to hone her craft and gain more exposure, and performed along the east coast with her designedly-danceable Swing sound. Her music combines a myriad of musical styles – Pop, R&B, Smooth jazz and Big Band standards fit her vocal talents like a glove, and all shine through in her first major CD release, “Corners of My Heart.”

Suzanne resides in Brentwood, TN and is excited to share her lifelong love of music and the joy of performing. Although her path has been filled with twists, turns and detours, “Corners of My Heart” has finally brought her full circle to lead her in the direction she was always meant to go.
